My city

Hi Ana

How are you? I hope you are well, I miss you. I’m so glad you are coming visit me next week. I’d love to see you again.
I'll talk a bit of my city. It is called Brasília, was built under President Juscelino Kubitschek and architected by Oscar Niemeyer. Brasilia was declared opened on April 21, 1960, but despite inaugurated, was not ready. It is located in the Midwest and it is the capital of Brazil. There is a perfect sky here and the sunset is one of the most beautiful in the world. Brasília is a big city and has averaged 2.6 million of inhabitants and is one of the most beautiful places for tourism in Brazil.
The main tourist spots of Brasília are: The National Congress, is the constitutional organ which exercises the functions of the legislature, namely, passing laws and overseeing the Brazilian State, as well as administer and judge. The Metropolitan Cathedral, was the first catholic monument to be built in Brasília, it is situated on the esplanade of ministries and is open every day for visits. The JK Bridge is another icon stamped postcard, especially at night, when it gets further highlighted. The National Museum is located on the Esplanade of Ministries and has the form of a dome. The Television Tower is a television transmission tower, it was designed by Lúcio Costa, it is one of the few important buildings in Brasília that are not a creation of Oscar Niemeyer and it is the second tallest structure in Brazil.
The worst thing about Brasília is that don’t have much to do during the day. There isn’t beach, just a lake, the lake Paranoá. But at night there are many parties and it is quite busy, there are many malls, cinema, bars, restaurants etc.
Brasília is a very good city and I’m looking forward to your arrival.

Kisses,

Sthefany

The Cell phone

The cell phone is one of the biggest means of communication and many people in the world have one, there are many models and prices in electronics stores. They use the cell phone every day for surfing the internet, shoot, play, listen musics and others or just for pleasure.
Using the cell phone has many advantages. Firstly, you can call and send messages to everyone from anywhere all over the world. Another advantage is that you can use it for surfing the internet without needing a computer to search something or checking your social networks. In addition, you can take pictures and record moments without needing camera. Lastly, you can download games to be distracted.

However, there are also certain disadvantages in using the cell phone. First of all, it can be dangerous to expose your phone number in places like social networking, for example. Secondly, walking with a cell phone in your hands at a dangerous place is not a good idea, you can call attention of criminals who can rob it. Finally, you can be addicted on your cell phone.
In conclusion, despite the disadvantages, the cell phone brings a lot of benefits to our lives. It is hard to imagine a world without the cell phone, because it facilitates our social life.
